- The Karnataka Loka Seva Commission has issued a notification for the recruitment of junior assistant / second class assistant posts in various departments of the state and the Bangalore Bangalore Metropolitan Reserve Board for the year 2019-20. The department has filled a total of 1,279 vacancies and invited applications from incompetent candidates. - Details of Vacancies: Hyderabad Karnataka Junior Assistant / Second Class Assistant = 199 Vacancies Resident Junior Assistant / Second Class Assistant (Non Hyderabad Karnataka) = 1080 posts Total = 1,279 posts
- Academic Qualification: PUC / equivalent qualification of Karnataka Bachelor's Degree Course for Junior Assistant / Second Class Assistant, Secondary PUC Exam conducted by CBSE and ISC Board, Secondary PUC Exam conducted by other State Government Examinations Boards, National Inns Higher Secondary Course / HAS conducted by NIOS) Candidates with a three-year diploma or two-year ITI course or two-year vocational education diploma (JOC / JODC / JLDC) A language course conducted by the OS and an exam in an academic or undergraduate board may be considered equivalent to a PUC in one language and one subject.
- Note: Candidates must possess the qualifications assigned to the respective posts on the date fixed for applying. Candidates who have written this prescribed qualification test and await the result will not be eligible to apply on the last date of application.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for Minority Candidates from Minimum 18 years to Maximum 35 years, Category - 2 (A), 2 (B), 3 (A), 3 (B) Candidates Maximum 38 years and Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Category 1 Maximum 40 years. Candidates within the year age group can apply. The details of age limit should be read in the notification.
- Salary Range: Candidates selected for Junior Assistant / Second Class Assistant posts will be paid Rs 21,400 / - to Rs 42,000 / - per month.
- Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through competitive examination.
- Exam Dates: Compulsory Kannada Language Examination Date: June 6,2020 and Competitive Exam Date: June 7,2020
- Details of Examination Fee: Rs.600 / - + + Rs.35 / - for General Eligibility Candidates - Rs.300 / - + 35 / - for Exercise 2 (A), 2 (B), 3 (A), 3 (B) Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Castes, Category-I and Disabled candidates are exempted from payment of fee but all candidates must pay Processing Charge 35 / -. Applications for non-payment of applicants will be rejected.
- Application Process: Candidates visit the Commission's website http://www.kpsc.kar.nic.in/ on-line. Applications must be submitted by April 9,2020 by filling out the information requested there and paying the exam fee.
