- Educational Qualification: 10th grade / SSLC or equivalent for Group B and C posts; 12th grade / intermediate / equivalent; Candidates who have diploma qualifications from a recognized institution / university or board can submit the application.
- Age Limit: Candidates within the age group of at least 20 to a maximum of 28 years can apply for these posts. Candidates are given age limit as per BSF appointment rules.
- Salary Details: Candidates selected for Group B and C posts will be paid a salary ranging from Rs. 25,500 / - to Rs. 1,12,400 / -.
- Selection Process: Candidates for these posts will be selected through written examination, physical examination and medical examination.
- Application Fee: The applicant can pay the application fee of Rs.200 / - for SI posts and 100 / - for HC & City posts by Demand Draft / Post Order as stated in the notification. Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Former Army Candidates are exempted from fee.
