• Eight states, including Maharashtra, Delhi and Karnataka, are on the rise in new cases of Kovid-19 infection, Union Health Ministry said. In neighboring Kerala, the number of cases of infection is on the decline, it said.
  Around 76.22 per cent of the cases were reported in Punjab, Maharashtra and Kerala.
  Maharashtra has 62 per cent cases, followed by Kerala and Punjab at 8.33 per cent and 5.36 per cent respectively, the Union Health Ministry said.
  37,384 cases were reported in Pune, 25,861 in Nagpur, 18,850 in Mumbai, 16,735 in Thane and 11,867 in Nashik.
  There were no casualties in 24 hours in the Union Territory and 15 states, the ministry said.
